Some spark plug questions

OK before you say "search" I have and didnt like what I was seeing.

First of all What plug should I be running, a bPr7es or a br7es? What will the "projected Insulator" do for or against me?
Also why are so many people switching from iridium to copper other then cost? Also Why not platinum? I know a lot of people with bpu supra's are switching their stock platinum plugs for iridiums which are a little bit cheaper but not enough to warrent a switch.
