I've read this thread and still don't know what dyno it is: DD, DJ, or Mustang?

Hmm..how bout apples to apples. They didn't use race gas on their stroker.

And it seems like everyone is forgetting the basic rule...Dyno numbers don't mean squat. They all read differently and it's a highly inaccurate way to judge a car's real potential. Trap speeds tell the read deal so all you dyno number queens, put it on the strip and then talk smack.

Warrtalon, I have no dispute with the information you provided. But son you need to learn some TACT. Look it up.

I would not expect a stroked IX to make very impressive numbers with the stock turbo, simply because the stock turbo already has enough trouble meeting the demands of a stock 2.0L motor. With a 2.3L you're asking the turbo for a lot more than it can provide.

Out of curiousity, what does a bone stock EVO8-9 dyno on your dyno AMS? Just curious. I will not comment in here further, not here starting trouble. Just getting an idea how your dyno reads as it isn't a highly used dyno and I have seen no numbers from one on a stock car.

Up top I would agree with you somewhat but below 5k rpm, the tq from the stroker should absolutely murder the 2.0 anywhere and especially around 2-4k rpm. It should absolutely murder. It should be an absolute beast.

granted theres some factual info in this thread- but most of the fan boys need to go back to trolling with claims like ohh im gonna make more power with my cams- so do it and then post up a dyno and enter in all your lil plugs of all the people other than yourself that worked on your car.
and to AMStuning props to you for posting up a satisfied customers graph - but you know posting up here entails feedback and sometimes that feedback can hurt your image- this communitys customers arent driven by safe tunes and all case scenarios- they only want to know the dyno queens making the most power in rare case scenarios-- i rather see all the real case scenarios then be a dissappointed customer compared to all the other dyno queens

and also warrtalon, you're not posting anything of substance either. when we see some dyno graphs coming from you and not just a lot of talkin' then maybe this discussion would be chopped in a quarter.
