Before/after dynos of BB 50 trim on a IX?
Before everybody starts screaming to do a search I have tried many combinations of words but have had no luck because the forums ignores "50" since it is only 2 letters.
Anyway, what I'm hoping to find is a good comparison on the same dyno of the stock IX turbo vs. the BB 50 trim. Ideally both would be fairly well tuned to show the real differences in spool. If nobody has such a graph, how about some feedback from those that have made this switch (in particular on a IX)? The stock setup actually spools too quickly for my tastes. Going up small hills in my neighborhood I am spooling to 15+ psi when I'm only at like 20% throttle and 3000rpms. I'm constantly rolling back off the throttle in this case to keep the boost down (like when the car is still cold because it sat below 0 all night and freaking oil pressure is at 100psi at idle!). But at the other end of the spectrum, I definitely don't want to have to go WOT just to get boost. That's the way my 70GTS car is and it sucks on the street.

Really?? Well in that case forget the before/after, I'd be happy with just any dyno of a BB 50 on an IX... don't tell me I'm going to be the first one, I'm never the first one!

I just want to say from someone who went from a gsx what a ****ing let down. The evo has evolved, and I love the evo I ****in bought one, but all of a sudden they decide to give the motor away that made america ****ing love it.. You know what **** mitsu. I will not buy a 10 I will buy a 9 se... And i don't give a **** what any one thinks. And I don't care about the new car evolving. Because the hyundai is evolving too with the same ****ing motor!@Q!!!!!!!!
