If you built the bottom end with good internals, I do not see why not although you are already starting with a boat lod of torque with a well tuned GT35. I would run a small shot down low just to spool that monster up quick.

If you have to ask, then probably not...how will you be controlling it? I'd read through your sig for AEM or something, but it makes me dizzy looking at it.

I was thinking about running a little NOS. The good thing about it is that its there when you need to go fast, the rest of the time your just cruisin'. I don't see how a 50 shot could hurt, even with stock internals, but I am no expert and would consult with one before doing it.

I had a 50 shot on my stock turbo and internals and i didnt like it to much, i had problems and you had to use the bottle heater to get the pressure up and all that so i just sold it and built the motor and got a 35r and a AEM. Also i had it tuned for the nos but when i was at the track i would have to take off before i could turn it on because of the 2-step and idk i think if i buy it again im going to spray atleast 100 because with all the money you will have in it even if you buy it used it still dont make sense. Now that i think about it if you want it right there buy a meth kit with a safty and turn the boost up. well good luck.

I ran a 40 dry shot on our last evo. And it loved it. The car would pick up 5 tenths and 9mph with just a 40 shot. The intercooling affect nitrous gives a turbo or supercharged car is just crazy. I only ran a few bottles through it, but never had a problem.

Well yes i will also have built botton end with ARP.So should i go for it just to spool my GT35R quicker and i think it will also work as a meth injection keeping the knock low right???

as long as you are tuned/ built for nitrous you shouldnt have any knock or det issues.

It is much different than meth. N20 is a fuel and a big power adder in and of itself. Meth cools the charge and allows you to run higher boost which is where most of the power is made. NOS is not going to make your engine more knock resistant. If anything it wil make it more prone to preignition. This is why you back off the timing a few degrees.

Nitrous is fun. I have been spraying a 35 shot for a few weeks, and right now im getting a new clutch and a shep tranny installed. I have my H/O Walbro 255L pump sitting next to me and am ordering a zextronix wideband tomorrow. Im gonna be running a 75 shot all day long. Just stepping the plugs one step colder, and pulling out a single degree of timing. I know people who have run nitrous safely on there evos for a couple years putting 15+ bottles through the motor with no problems. I also picked up 6mph in the 1/4th mile from a PIG rich 35 shot, as im running two steps larger a fuel jet right now, as I didnt have time to get on a dyno and didnt have a wideband to monitor my afr's at the time. As long as your AFR's dont lean out it will be fine, and also, make sure your fuel pump(s) are in working order. If your running a gt35r with a built bottom end make sure you have at least a twin 255l setup, if not something bigger.

Not sure why you quoted me? I'm well aware of what nitrous is and how it works. And I never compared it to meth???

Because, nitrous does nothing to supress knock. It has a chemical breakdown and adds more air to the mix raising cylinder pressures. Just because the nitrous is cold dosent mean that its reducing knock. Higher cylinder pressure=Higher cylinder temps.
