Cam Question

I just picked-up a set of USED Prostreet adjustable cam gears and possibly cams. The cams/gears were off a 2005 MR. I have an 06 MR. I am wondering if the cams will work or not. I know the 06 has MIVEC and I am unsure if the cams interchange. My other question is, does Prostreet make a cam? Or does anybody know what brand/duration has the markings ES 4604. The guy that I bought them from said that the stock cams were hollow and the cams that I purchased were solid. Could somebody please shed some light as to how I can figure out what kind of cams these are.

Jeremy

P.S.---I could post some pics if that would help anybody.

No way Jose. Are you really asking if you can use non mivec cams in a mivec engine? Maybe I read this wrong.

They make cam gears, but I haven't heard of them making aftermarket cams for the Evo. How do you not know if they are aftermarket cams or who they are made by? You mean you purchased this stuff without knowing anything? Why did you buy it before asking?

Anyway, you can use the exhaust cam gear and exhaust cam, but neither is helpful.

You can only use the exhaust cam, gotta buy a new cam for intake side. He stated that the cams were solid, and the stockers are hollow, so they are obviously aftermarket.

I asked all that I could, but the guy that was selling them wasn't real familiar with these cars. And the guy that I bought them from was selling them for his buddy in Iraq. I was almost positive that I couldn't use them, but I just wanted to ensure this. But the main question is, how can I tell what kind of aftermarket cams are they? And for the price I got them at (cam gears AND cams), I couldn't say no because the cam gears alone are worth double what I paid. I'm sure I was gonna get $hit for this, but I can take it and thanks to all who give good input.

I kinda figured that I needed different cams and gears, but for $50 for the complete set-up I wasn't going to pass it up.
