Unhappy Broken Back Windows?

For some reasons, my back side windows won't go down all the way . There's about an inch sticking up after it stops. Now this isn't just one window, it's both of them. I don't think this is normal (is it? ) and I was just wondering if this happened to any of you guys. I was thinking maybe I should just take it back to the dealership and get it fixed under the warranty. Any suggestions?

Actually, if you look at the shape of the glass, and the shape of the door.. it only goes as far down as the first obstruction.. My neon only goes down half way, but the door has a cut-out for the rear wheel.. The Evo is no different.. Its not really a safety feature, although some cars do have that as one..

Are there ANY sedans made currently that have the rear windows go all the way down. It seems like they all stick up a ways, and the Evo's actually goes down further than most I've seen recently. I find it quite annoying and if it's for child protection, it should be switchable like the rear door locks are.

I think it is by design that it doesnt go down all the way because the lower part of the door will not accomodate the whole rear glass. Those bigger cars with bigger quarter glass can actually lower the rear glass all the way, like maybe the dodges, jags and mercs

Hmm, you must not live anywhere warm 'cause I have my rear windows down quite a bit and I live in Seattle which is definitely no SoCal. They actually cool the car better than the front windows being down IMO.
