K&N Drop In Air Filter

Hey guys, i just got my drop in air filter today, i was wondering if there is any steps you would recommend before i actually install it...ive heard they can be really oily which screws some things up...any tips or precautions would be nice to read. Thanks guys

Just make sure it's not dripping oil. This is basic, basic stuff. Reserve thread titles like "Help!" for when you blow your clutch in a few thousand miles.

They way I do mine is after I oil it I just let it sit overnight on some newspaper then install it in the morning. Then you dont have to worry about too much oil getting into the MAF sensor.
