Arrow Best location 4 >> Oil Temperature Sensor ??

I'm assuming the Sump as logic would suggest some temperature drop occurs as the Oil pump picks up the Oil from the Sump and then flows through the Thermostat out to the Oil cooler ?

Correct ?

Thanks

there should be a port above the oil filter location. just get a fitting or whatever kind of adapter you need. that should be a sufficient place to take an oil temp reading.

That wouldn't seem to be the optimal place to locate it given the logic in my first post.......?
