Please help! T case oils
Please help! T case oils
So i blew my t case 8 months ago on my 05 evo viii. 1 month after i got my new clutch installed. Last month i finally saved enough money for a new transfer case from shepherd. Shepherd told me that it blew because of the incorrect oil being used. Shepherd told me to use #3775610 w90. But today i went to the dealer and they assured me to use diaqueen 75w85. They told me that they use that oil on all there evos. Then i went to my mechanic and he told me that he used 75w85 on a couple of evos and none have had any problems. I tried searching here but i see a whole lot of different oils. Has anyone used either 90w or 75w85? With what results?Any help is greatly apprecciated.
always use diaqueen if you want to avoid problems. any other type you use should be a straight 90(like the diaqueen) and very few companies make a straight 90.
