Question Opinions on the new Buschur cone filter from people that run it??

Hey guys. Just gathering all my parts for my first round of mods and I have a carbon intake box that is supposed to work with a cone filter....so I am trying to figure out which one to use.

Apex, Buschur and Blitz seem to be the ones most people recommend for good daily driving reliability as well as power. Yes I know I will have to get a tune and that is going to happen at Speed Element after all the parts are put on.

Other mods going on at same time:

-Ported coated Stock Mani
-SSAC 02 housing
-TTP 3"DP
-Vishnu HFC
-Greddy Ti
-Forge MBC
-Walboro Fuel Pump
-Carbon Air box w/ ???Filter???

From what I understand, the APEXi/Buschur Filter were designed to work specifically with the OEM MAF unit and won't upset it. Both basically remove about 1.5 PSI of pressure drop which is about 10WHP as shown on the Dyno. Faster spoolup/better throttle response/Boost does not drop off as fast/better top end for sure.

The OEM Air box IS a restriction but it shields the sensitive MAF from interference.

I plan on using the filter w/ a carbon airbox, so it will be the best of both worlds

It makes perfect sense. It is a tool song. It points out how humans are stupid and fight over everything and poop like that.

I have the Vibrant cone filter w/ MAF adapter + tuned. No issues; drivability is fine. This is the cone filter that Mike of SBR dyno tested last year on their stock Evo IX, showing +9whp/5wtq before tune...
