forge wga, Leaks like crazy??

I can't even get my wg to open it just leaks so bad that it can't build enough pressure to open. I have a 20g-8 with a 10.5 hotside and I was wondering if anyone else ran in to this problem.

I guess I will take it apart and see what is goin on.

if you have a high pressure wga the spring wont let the wg open till spring pressure , you should be building boost till 18 psi than the wga will begin to open , you sure you installed it correctly ?? put the turnbuckle on the wrong side and your wga will be open all the time and never build boost

Easiest way to check for a wga leak is to take a bicycle hand pump (w/gauge) + a piece of hose attached to the wga nipple. Pump slowly until you get 15-20psi and then pinch off hose. Spray a little soapy water on the wga to pinpoint any leaks.

I used compressed air and blew it in the hose going to the wg and it just leaked out of the bottom of it and would not build enough pressure to open.

Compressed air?? That's 90+ psi !
I hope you have it regulated not to blow that high. If not, you might have damaged the diaphram inside.

Yes it was regulated to 30 psi, I took it apart and found that the diaphram was ripped. Will forge sell just this part? Also has anyone had trouble mounting it on a 10.5 hotside with an evo 8 comp side??

Why not call Forge Motorsport and send in your WGA to be repaired and bench tested? If you have the original factory one just slap it on for the time being. I really don't see how you could mount it bacwards. Do you think it's physically possible? It should work just fine on a 16G with 10.5 HS,,,that's exactly what it's made for.
