EVO GSC S1 Cams For a Evo IX

Anyone else besides me have the gsc s1 cams for there evo IX's? We'll i installed them yesterday and they've been running a little funny. Whenever i hit Mivec (5000 RPM) and and put the car in neutal the car will start getting lopey around 2200 Rpm's and it'll stay there. I heard that on the IX's they have a code for the car running to rich and it will throw a code and what is happening to me will happen. I was just wondering how everyone elses GSC S1 cams are running. I do have a tune for the cams but it is only a mail-in.

Also you say when you hit MIVEC at 5k , I'm not following .

How is your map? Are you running rich or lean? Hows the timing? Advanced?

Mivec starts around 2000 rpms...its a smooth delivery of power as mivec kicks in the lower rpms to also enhance torque down low as well as to spool the turbo quicker. There is no BANG/LOUD NOISE or significant power delivery other than boost. A tune for the cams would be a good idea.

I do have a tune, a mail-in from jestr. I'm really confused....I don't even know where to start looking. Right now i'm just thinking that the tune was a little off. Jestr is going to send me another tune, so we'll see what happens then. The mail-in he sent me had a little more timing and was running a little bit more richer.

When i start the car up the idle is fine. Its when i hit full boost and it starts acting all funny. When i put it in neutral it will start been lopey at 1k jumping to 1300 and coming back down, then a little later it will jump to 2200 and start being lopely around there. When it gets to 2200 it doesn't come back down unless i turn the car off for like 10mins and restart it.

GO to a tuner and have them tune it. Do NOT mail your ecu off for an off the shelf map. This will probably straighten things out.
