does that help?
i would say check for a leak at the mbc and fittings if you say the lines kept coming off. you might need smaller hose.

keep the mbc. the only difference with my ebc is even if i have a boost leak, i dont see alot of taper because the ebc constantly iterates to try to make up for lost boost.

anyways...since you had pipes coming off as well before, you might want to check the rest of the connections.

if you do a boost leak test and you pressurize your system...make sure you use a pressure regulator to limit the fill rate to around 20 psi. dont just hook up your compressor to a shrader valve and let her fly...

check that intercooler pipe, you might have found it. if you have to tighten it, double check that its making a seal correctly between the ic hose, clamp and pipe.

You didnt accidentally puncture a tiny hole in any of those windshield washer fluid lines we call boost lines did you. I had a boost leak and it was a reall small slit in the rubber hose where i couldnt see it. Maybe take out the mbc and check those lines?

I think you have a boost leak....Either do the test yourself or take it to your mechanic...
