um, add oil?

Add oil, and then monitor levels daily until you convince yourself you have a problem, or that the dealer just underfilled it.

You didn't get ALL the oil in from the dealer. they didn't check probably. cost me a spun rod bearing. They did an "oil change" and put 2 or 3 quarts in mine. The evo next to me on the lift got OVER 2 quarts on his oil change. same thing happened to him.

OR, you were aggressively driving your car with the new TBE and had blow-by.

My guesses. I check my oil every time I fill the tank.

well over 30 oil changes since I owned my 04, back when it was new I decided to go ahead and get the free oil change they promiced. Overfilled it 1 quart!

I had to siphon a qt out the dipstick.

Check your car on level surface - makes about 1qt difference on even slight inclines.

Your not burning oil or else you will have clouds of smoke at idle

So what exactly would be the consequences of overfilling a little bit? Got my o2 housing installed a week ago and had to add about a quart of oil. Ended up overfilling it a little bit, should I be worried? Checked the dipstick and it was just a little over the top notch.

Nothings wrong - go to sleep

Worry about things like running methanol tank dry or tapping noises.

Just change that oil every 2-4kmls

Add some oil and check it again after the weekend if it is low or looks like it used a lot of oil give me a call on Monday. I will be back from ATL then. Don't worry I'm sure it is nothing, all engines use some oil, and liked smokedmustang said it probably blow by from harder driving.

Turbo cars with poor PVCC systems burn oil by sending leaking oil back through the intake runners.
