Sputter after changing spark plug wires?

I need help. Ive tried everything I could think of and have gotten nowhere. I returned my car to stock and it ran fine. Shut off the car went inside and got ready for work. before i went to work i thought i would change out my spark plug wires really quick. swapped them and then my car starts really bad and backfires and sounds like a subaru with no cats. i swapped them back and no change. not sure what to do here. need some advice.

Umm you have a bad connection on one or a tear in the wire. Very simple.

what type of wires did you install? You got all the right wires to the right holes?

if it was a tear then y do both sets of wires cause the same problem? i had ralliart wires and they are all in the right holes. i only got 2 of them. 1 is twice as long as the other and they are labeled 1 and 3

Wait you just said in your first post that it did not start to happen until you changed your wires. Which is it?

That wasn’t clear in your first post. Could have just fouled a plug with a bad wire, did you take a look at them?

Hold on one second!

I thought the long coil assy plugs on to 1 and 4 and the short one - 2 and 3.

I can't remember

A really easy way to check for shorts is to look at the engine running at night and look for the arcs.

The stock wires are fine BTW.
