Question Mild Tune and Head Bolts ? ? ?

Ok here we go, I have an 06 Evo 9 MR and currently all the car has on it is an XS RFL blow off valve. Yes I know some hate them but I just love the sound when letting off the gas - lol
Now to my questions, I am looking to get a full exhaust system with a high flow cat and downpipe (Buschur racing with the bullet muffler), cone filter, upgraded fuel pump and a custom map. I have been told this combo should yield around 40-50 WHP which seems pretty descent for the money but I have a few questions.
I have been advised by some to add the upgraded head bolts to the car. The item plus install is less than $200 but my question is, with my modification plans would you guys definatly advise it ? I will not be modding past the poing mentioned above so is it really neccessary ? Those who have similar mods to mine without the upgraded head bolts, have u noticed any problems and how long have you been running that setup ?
My next question, with the above mods is it really safe if it's all hooked up right or will I really be running the risk of costly problems due to my upgrade path - so basically will reliability be somewhat compromised with the upgrades mentioned or are there really no issues ?
My final question is, will it be a night and day difference ?

Thanks in advance,
MarK.

ok....first off is the bov vta or recirc.....
no you deffinatly do not have to have head bolts. i have more mods than you are planning to do and i wont have any problems either. those are all safe mods to run on a daily drivin car for years.

and yes there will be a HUGE difference.

I believe it's a VTA - http://lancershop.com/customer/produ...&cat=27&page=1 - I read that these have issues with stalling but other than this mod my car is stock and I have experienced no stalling issues. Am I safe to be using this BOV ? I love the sound but if it's detrimental for my car then **** the sound and I think I'll go back to stock or choose another brand. Is there an issue with VTA vs recirc ? ? ?

Thanks again and keep the replies comming,
MarK.

OK more responses...No you do not need hew headstuds / bolts for such a basic set of mods...sounds like your 'tuner' is trying to make more $$$...How many NOs will you need before you get the point....Better yet look at most respected tuners stages...

+1 for another "NO" when it comes to needing head studs for your setup
