Can anyone post some links?

I'm a little late into getting an EVO of my own. Usually I'd drive my friends' EVO's being that they weren't the hottest of racers when it came to the track. But now that I went and bought one finally, I had to do it the hard way. With Mivec. Can anyone post some links that would show the pros/cons of modding the Mivec 4G? I just don't want to change things when there isn't anything to change.

In case anyone is wondering.... sans the head, I have the basic layout to get to the 500+whp mark... with the non-mivec head though. That's why I ask. Either way, any and all info will be appreciated.

Now since most of the parts have been re-developed for the MIVEC version, I don't see many issues with modding the engine. The only issue that may arise is that you can't change out the intake cam gear, so you cant set adv/retard but shouldn't be an issue when tuning the MIVEC. On my car, the difference in the MIVEC tune was about 50whp. I'm sure if you talked to Nick at Buschur or Eric at AMS they could give you some better insight. Good luck with your mods!

That's basically what I meant, lol. Basically everything will fit from the Evo 8 03' into the Evo 9 06' except for cams. When I order parts I usually say for an 04 or 05.
