The DP came in about 2 days ago. The way it was shipped was not all that great. it was just throw in a box with the hardwear in a ziplock looking bag. Other then that the DP looked AWESOME! Much straighter and of course 3". When i did the 1st test drive with it i was very impressed. it deff put me back in my seat. Here are some pics of the stocker along side the Buschur...

fitment was 99% good. the ONLY problem was that it was touching 1 of the track bars under the DP. But a few washers to space it out made the fix.

 

How does the downpipe seal to the 02 housing. I dont see a donut or gasket.

 

well the sound is really the same since i still have the stock catback. its a LITTLE bit louder but not much to even notice. im waiting for my testpipe and JIC exhaust to come in. THEN it should be like

 

it does not use a gasket or donut. It simply slides over the lip on the 02 housing. It is a surprisingly tight fit. It really does not leak even without a gasket For extra security or to fix a tiny leak you can run a bead of high temp silicone around the edge of the lip on the 02 housing, that makes it 100% leak proof.

 

The sound of your exhaust will not be affected all that much by a down pipe. Now if you wanna talk about how it all sounds with a Bushur TBE and their bullet muffler

 

yea good call. my Invidia O2 housing just came in today, i cant wait to put it on. It was the biggest 1 i could find. (2.95" outlet)

 

mine leaked at the 02 housing back when i had one. have a dc now. it looks like they've changed the design a little since the one i had though since the hangers look different. maybe they fixed it.

 

you can't look at it that way... because when that pipe is thrown around by the ups football team, its gonna get all messed up; thats why packaging is important.

 

I have the full exhaust, and I love it.

 

It will dent up before it bends
