Keep the 1G,just do the dejon fix and you,ll hold the boost and still get that great 1G driveability.

i wouldnt even say one of the best tuners on the east coast..one of the best in the whole country. sean works magic. you pay good money for tuning why not know your getting the best. never have heard of him taking a shortcut and will always help you out no matter what it is.

1) You keyboard is broke, it only types periods three at a time.

2) I believe Forge makes a 1g version of their BOV, I see no reason why you couldn't bolt that on to your 1g flange, if you wanted to go that route.

Whether the 1G bov is leaking or not, it is NOT the reason for what you described. Hell, the stock plastic BOV leaks after 13psi, but it doesn't cause the car to stutter and break up. That's not the indication of a weak BOV - it's an indication of an ignition problem or actual boost leak (e.g. loose IC pipe)

That BOV pretty much sucks, I know from experience. It has awful fluttering problems.

I have the Buschur UICP that has the 1g BOV as well. During a boost leak test, even crushed, it leaked at 22 psi. My only option was to send the UICP back to Buschur and get it re-flanged or do the Denon fix. I did the latter and havent looked back.

As Sean said, get some new plugs and do the BOV and you will be fine.
