I already said the tow hook can be taken care of simply by going around the bar for the engine mount.

We are also adding some gussets to the bar, I didn't realize it was in the makings already and the part we got was to test fitment only.

The pad for jacking up the car will not be added, this bar will NOT support the car by being jacked up on it. Jack the car from the sides where it was intended to be lifted. Even the stock brace bends from continued jacking on the flat point it has on it.

No time frame on release or pricing. It shouldn't be too long though.

I brought one home with me tonight to install on my RS. I jacked the car up from the passenger side, put two jack stands under it and changed it in no more than 15 minutes. Good fitment, no problem. Looks nice.
15 minutes, assuming u dont run undertray.

bonestock, they will not get powder coated until we can get caught up. The 1st batch sold out already. By the time the next batch is done they will be sold too.

Let me know when powder coated ones become available. I'd like to put one on my car, I could definitely use the clearance under there by my turbo.

Can I use the tow-hook on the bar as a jacking point?

So here is the next item. Below is the new bolt in drive shaft safety loop we have come out with. Chrome moly, bolts into existing holes in the car with the side brackets. Has room to fit our 3" exhaust through/past it too. This is required by IHRA and NHRA at different levels of competition and if you are running slicks. It's just a damn good idea. If the front of the u-joint, yoke or driveshaft itself breaks the driveshaft can dig into the pavement or come through the floor and take your legs out. This is meant to prevent that from happening.

Next up is a set of solid aluminum bushings for the rear differential. These hold the differential in place. On both sides, they replace the factory rubber bushings.

Last is the rear differential support, or called by some the "mustache bar". This also holds the rear differential in place. The stock bar weighs in at 15.9 pounds and ours weighs in at only 3.2 pounds, that's a nice 12.7 pound savings. This is the part we put on our car, along with the aluminum rear differential bushings that we are crediting our new improved 60' times to.

The driveshaft loop and the rear differential support (mustache bar) are $275 each. The bushings we have not determined a price on yet but I am guessing around $70.

These parts are not yet in stock but should be in the next two weeks, they are being fabricated now.

We have two more parts coming for the rear end too that are going to save some weight. There are two side bracket that the picture aluminum rear differential bushings bolt into. We are going to make both brackets from solid aluminum that do not require any bushings at all. So the bushing kit is if you want to keep your stock cast iron mounts, these new ones will be for weight savings and have the solid mount all included.

Thanks for reading. I will post final pricing on the bushings and the new mounts when we finish them.

NICE! Looking good Dave!

What would the solid rear mustache bar act like on a street car?
