ummmm im new to this but im askin yall to help me out. im 16 and i got a white evo8 ...... i kno kinda young huh.... n e wayz i juss got the hks type-1 metric and i cant find out whch wires go to which wires behind the ignition for the key connector. also i since theres no harness for the evo and i didnt buy the harness for the eclipse , i need to kno how to splice the wires in. i kno its a lot im askin for but im desperate to find out. and also need to kno how to splice the wires into the ecu. i wulda plug and played the timer but i kno if i splice the wrong wires im ****ed. sooo im askin yall to help me. no info needed for the rpm gauge wires or e-brake nor the ground wire.

There is a harness. The 2g Eclipse harness works perfectly. The number from HKS is MT-6.

Find it, and use it. It works perfectly.

 

Yep without it it would probably take days to get the wires straight.

 

Listen to them and get the harness. I just installed a HKS type-0 in my evo and with the harness I was able to install it in 30 minutes.
