Did you have to trim the rear diffuser at all when switching to the AMS exhaust?

is that LICP the same as the one AMS sells for the stock turbo? i remember their old one used to taper, maybe it's special for the kits though.

thanks guys...

drove the car home last night, unfortunately i haven't been able to put it on the dyno, im home ill with a stomach virus ahhhhhhh! first impressions... nothing leaked... at all.....

and the anti-surge compressor cover sounds significantly different than the standard 35r inlet we were running before... it sounds like a smaller turbo when it spools...

ill try to dyno it tomorrow, or later tonight if i make it in to work today!!

more to come guys!

Everything looks GREAT Chad. We have never used those studs but the kit fits like a glove with the standard harware. Thank you for the tip.

Sorry I was not able to get in here earlier but from the second we saw CBRD's setup and track record we knew they would embody everything we do here at AMS. This is a partnership that was set in motion long before we even knew each other.

Keep up the great works guys and we all look forward to the findings.

Eric

Eric,

thank you. We spoke to many different companies, but AMS gave us a comfort level that is hard to find. This industry is full of empty promises, and AMS has fulfilled on all of theirs.

The car will be on the dyno and in action very shortly... back to back comparisons will be interesting...

I think you will be pleasantly surprised on the increase in power, spool and torque

well,

did some initial pulls

14.5-15.2 psi (on WG spring pressure) same map as before, we saw 320whp/286wtq

20psi (aem trueboost) 396whp/319wtq same map

more to come, i expect an easy 450whp on pump at 24.5 psi with some tuning, and higher torque.

ok, a little more, same map, we were running before, richened it up a little, up top..

23psi = 420whp/346wtq

I am having some issues with the knock sensor (fault code, so i think it may be going south) im going to replace it on tuesday... and do some more dyno-ing...

note, this is on the stock ecu.... AEM will go on late this week..

So far I am very impressed, since the wastegate is dumped back in, and we are running the resonated test pipe!

again, more to come!
