Well short story, i just got a evo IX crate motor w/ wiring harness and ecu, I plan on using my same old 5spd tranny and transfercase off of my 03 model without ACD. I know some guys told me about a week ago that i could use the non acd xfercase on the evo 9 motor but i would need to bypass it, But i need to know what exsactly am i going to be bypassing, just the lines from the ACD fluid reservoir to the xfer case or do i need something done with the ECU since it think i have acd.

 

NVM i think i just figured out what to do without having to disconnect anything permenantly.

Tell me if this would work.
Reroute the acd feed line back into the acd return line on the resevoir

 

anyone? I just need to know if this will work, will the VCU on the 03 xfercase not work right or what i really need some sort of answer i keep reading but i dont seem to find a good answer for my question.
