Just curious as to why you want to buy a stock ix bov. I would get one off an MR if I were you. The one off the ix is still the plastic pos and won't hold 21lbs very well.

I was under the impression that all IX's had a metal BOV. Why would they do that?

They are made of metal and this thread should be in the forsale/wtb forum.

I currently have the hks ssq bov and know they leak at idle, but wasnt knowledgable on them when i purchased it. The evo ix bov can hold up to 30psi and are recirc. I dont plan on going higher then 26psi.

P.S. where abouts in philly are you?

there are tons of threads on here saying that it will hold up to 25psi...are you sure it will hold 30?

I'm actually in Exton, about 15 min from Dub C. So wait, now I'm confused, the BOV's in the IX's are plastic aren't they? Only the MR comes with the metal one correct?

there are no engine diffs between the IX MR and the GSR or RS IX, so the answer is no.

OK, sorry... Feeling a little absent minded. I didn't know that the IX came with a metal BOV, but that makes sense to me now.
