my evo is doing the same thing at 20.3 boost at around 6000 rpm. i thought i had it fix around 3 months ago ,but now its back. can the ecu reprogram it self when you unplug the ground? I didn,t think the fuel cut being "disabled" could.(3' tbe,255 walbro fp, mfc, injen i/c pipes + intake kit, turbo xs fmic)

No, the ECU cannot reprogram itself.

You are saying you are flashed and have fuel cut removed, but you are now hitting fuel cut in the summer when we flow much less air? That sounds a bit strange...

Hi TTP Engineering,

I really appreciated your explanation.

I thought that the fuel cut had something to do with a stable fuel delivery.

I heard so many, "change that fuel pump", "problems with stock fuel pump"...

Now, I have in my hands a brand new Evo 9 fuel pump and I do not know if I install it or sell it.

I wouldn't know about the EVo9 pump but for 100$ I would say buy a walbro and get that installed. Then get tuned.

I like what TTP did they raised my cut off but didnt remove it. (what he told me )

My car can't be tuned at the moment and the ECU is an already Ralliart "tuned version", this is why I looked for a slight better fuel pump, and based on the AMS study the 9 fuel pump is good option for bolt-ons.
I heard that Walbro 255 will cause a rich condition without a tune, so it is not an option for me.

Is there someone here that installed an Evo 9 fuel pump in the 8? results?

I wouldn't mind trying to hack your ECU map if it is a matter of you being unable to access your mapping due to a definition issue. I have tuned many ECU's not limited to JDMs, Evo VII's from 2001+, and even all of the FQ-360 and FQ-400 models.
