where does this tube go?

Hi,

Here's an easy question ( I hope)... I have a question about a disconnected hose I found. It is about 3/8" in diameter and it is connected to the air intake tube right after the mass air meter. It is hanging loose and I can't find where the other end should go. It's pretty short about 6" long. So where does the other end of this hose go?

Thanks in advance,

Mike

It connects to the boost control solenoid (BCS), which is the thing that controls the stock boost system. The BCS is under the intake and has 2 nipples - one for the hose going to the underside of the intake, and the other is for the hose going to the turbo and wga to control boost.
