HELP!!! clutch installed & starter makes noise!
I just finished my clutch install, my first time, on my garage floor no doubt, so im tired and very sore!lol I go to start the car and a loud screech comes from the starter as it turns over... I thought it was just bolted in and ready to go... any sudgestions? ideas? it looks correctly bolted in but is there a trick or tip im missing??? Thanks!!!!
Clutch is amazing btw its Clutch master stg 4, 6 puck!! Light pedal and exelent engagement!!!Very impressed so far almost better feeling than my exedy twin was, and I dont hear it!!!

No, there is no special way to bolt on the starter. I would pull the starter and check the teeth on it. If it was dropped it may have been damaged on the gear or cracked a magnet inside. Also check the teeth on the flywheel.

Bench test the starter and see if it still makes the sound. That will tell you if it is the starter. Then if that is ok check the flywheel by taking off the inspection cover and having someone turn over the motor by hand. Let us know how that goes.
