Spool up difference was about 200 rpm on a 2 liter with a 60-1 between those housings, with a 2.3 it should be even less. If you are maxing out the turbo, I've seen people pick up 20-30 whp with the housing change. If you're ***** footin around with 22 psi I doubt you'll see much of an increase.
Either way, I always lean toward the larger housings on strokers. For the same boost pressure you have roughly 15% more airflow and therefore exhaust product to pass through the turbine side. IMO, larger housings are a better fit for larger motors.

I have the .82 on mine. Same setup as you.
I never had the .63 but i can tell you from what i've been told the .82 is worth about another 30-40 whp and spool time on a 2.3 is still fast.
I get full boost on my car at about 4500-4800 depending on gear and speed......
And it's a 2.3/gt35r.82 and it f_cking rips........

How much do you gain with a .82 over a .63 on like a GT3076 or GT35R ball bearing Turbo?
(I guess its all about what you want from the car - I have had experiance with T3-T4 Turbo's on 2L 4Cly 16V Engines and even in drag applications unless you gona rev to over 8000rpm the extra HP is not usually worth the Jakle & Hyde power delivery and loss in spool-up especially not if you running over 23psi boost...
Going to a smaller housing with a smoother delivery setup usually gains me ET's in street cars - Drag cars can get by with Big Turbo's, High Rpm launches and short gear ratios.)
