Spline Shafts

I need to pull my TC out and send it to shep. So i have all 6 bolts out of the TC and the ACD line off the top. I can wiggle it around but i still could not get it out. So I got online and read the how to. It saids that i need to remove the Spline shafts on botht the TC and the trans. Do i have to do that or is there another way to just get it off with out removing the spline shaft? If theres not were can i get the slide hammer to remove it?

you can get a slide hammer at just about any auto parts store. it might be sold as a dent puller, but it will do the job. i don't know if the spline shafts have to come off to remove it, but with them removed, my TC came off pretty e-z.
