Sounds great, not too loud inside. At idle and during acceleration it's comparable with the OEM from inside. At 30-45 mph cruising it's very quiet too. At 3500 rpm cruise or higher it's a bit louder than stock. The power increase is quite noticeable by my SOTP dyno. The tip also has a little hole in the bottom near the edge, so I'm thinking to experiement with silencers to see how quiet I can get it. That would be totally great, super quiet when needed and louder, more powerful at will..

Oh yeah, when I spoke with Jeff at VRS, he asked me if I wanted it with a premuffler... He also asked if I wanted stainless steel... I said yes to both, I can only guess that since he asked me, there must be the option to get it without the premuffler and made from aluminized steel.....

It bolts right up. Mine required a little bit of grinding off the flange of the midpipe. Miguel said that this was being addressed and should not occur... Personally, I think that the installation by a professional shop should probably cost no more than $50 and that would include any small adjustments they have to make. That's the advantage of going to a muffler shop. Generally, changing an exhaust is relatively a simple matter, except if there are minor adjustments to be made which might require tools or supplies common to a shop but not common to the average person laying on their backs in their driveway
