you guys are just not simply answering my question, with all the external variables to his favor
  • dyno
  • atmospheric pressure
  • etc
, how much more will he make or estimate his final AWHP figure(s)....

Frankly i think that is laame power esp. for a IX. The 1st time I dynoed the 2006 IX MR, it made 278/274 awhp bone stock.

We installed a Full inake system, full 3" exhaust, and HKS UICP/LICP, went back to the dyno and did 312/304 awhp and to also add to that, the Greddy Proec-B wasnt functioning so the boost was eratic.
I honestly think you should be packing way more power than that for a set of "HKS" cams unless you have a **** load of tuning to be done..

jus my 0.2cents

Your .02 doesn't matter. Did you dyno on a Dynojet? If so there you have it. Mustang dyno's read a good 10-15% lower than a dynojet. Hmmm...so that would make me somewhere around 330-335 rwhp on 21psi. Some IXs dyno in the 230s-240s on Buschur's dyno. It was also, 121 deg and an on 91 Oct at 21psi.

What I should have done for all you "dyno queens" is thrown in some race gas and cranked the boost to 25-26 psi and got you the numbers you wanted.

I have no problem running my lame *** "290whp" evo against your what 312? Not a problem.

To all of you that know what your talking about...thanks for the feedback. BTW I spent my money on the cams not yours.

FYI, you need to RTFP too. The only gains shown are from tuning after the install

your dyno calibration is way off man. Sounds like it was configured to read crank hp not wheel. So yeah on that dyno you probably would see 40+ whp from a set of cams on an IX.

Another lame *** arguement over numbers that really don't tell much of a story unless you are looking at before and after gains.

People should quick focusing on the peak numbers and start looking at the gains, and track performances. Traps tell the true story guys.

BS! MIVEC cams don't make that kind of power.

+1. That sounds really close to stock numbers.

I love these arguments over numbers. Go to the track and post your mph gains. That'll say a lot too if you have slips from before.
