Running a VTA BOV with a MAF equiped car will always result in over rich conditions when ever you release metered air

You wont be hurting the turbo, but the extra rich contidion, can over time, have ill effects on the motor...

recirc the blow off valve as al said rich condition and when it recirculates the air that returns to the suction pipe helps spool th turbo as well

Wouldn't a Flash/Retune eliminate the rich condition from doing VTA?
