Hey guys i recently posted over in the evo advanced about this but it seems noone really looks over there lol. I have a 05 evo8 with some goodies. Buschar stg3 head and its components, 272 cams JAM lifters that were just installed. carillo rods and cp pistons. And a couple other things. Car has stock turbo and some nitrous(NEVER BEEN SPRAYED BECAUSE OF NOISE) I'm hearing a loud tick (multiple bad lifter sounding tick) from the front of the head only on deceleration between 4500rpm & 2000rpm ticking decreases in sound when rpms die out. At idle you can hear a slight tick. You mostly hear it on the exhaust side of the head, and it gets louder when warmed up. The JAM lifter were just installed and instructions were followed. Yea it's not an exhaust leak taking to shop tommorow, hope all goes well. Really not looking foward to driving the car
