Yeah your wrong Those are for the 8.

There are not to many choices for 9 at this point. Have you tried your setup with the stock plugs?

no i havent, but i want to run a one step colder if possible. my car has only been running w this setup for only week and half. idled perfect. put plugs in and 2 days later started idling funny, not it stalls. i did have it tuned but made no difference. so im wondering if maybe the plugs are fouled or they just are not right for the setup. i am going to put stock back in tomorrow and see if it changes. hopefully

br9eix's are begining to stumble @ start-up only after 3k miles.

You think right. These are the second 1-step colder plugs i know for the IX...

However i heard to many horor stories on Densos breaking tips...

If you want to do the extra mile get the NGK R7437-8 which are 1-step colder. Its 42 dollars per plug but i am pretty sure you want the best for your car...

At least thats what i did...

i went to sparkplugs.com .... i have no problems with those densos (ikh24)... i regap them .024 and they run just perfect. They are also only 45 for a set .... i bought the NGK R7437-8 once, and they didnt really make any difference to anything other than my bank account.

The NGK R7437-8 are already gapped at 0.024.

They say to regap iridium plugs as you can easily break them...

if you use the correct tool to regap plugs, and dont grab them with some monkey paws, they are pretty easy to gap and seem to have no adverse effects.... but i do hear what you are saying. I use the tool that has a tooth type piece on it that grabs the tip of the plug and bends it from there, there is no contact with the electrode at all.
