Gt35r and Cali Smog!!!

Hey guys, Like the title says I live in Cali. I was pushing towards the 20g but not feeling the dynos and power I have seen for other users. Seems like they have to stress it to barely even get close to 400whp. I have a lot of the bolt ons except head studs and meth. Which will come later on. BUT...what would you consider a stealthier kit for the Evo? the Atp that utilizes the stock manifold(which I know nobody likes, don't bother flaming) or the Buschur with the Cast manifold. I could throw some stickers on the intakes to get away with the C.A.R.B. BS. I know that they both show the wastegates. I have searched on Atp and have installed one on another evo but have not had experience with the buschur. Please chime in if you can be helpful.

I just recently got a referee ticket and went through a bunch of crap so I would like something stealthy that can hit a good tq mark without maxing out or stressing the turbo. I know that the Buschur will perform better. Just looking for some opinions on stealth. I know not many of you have to deal with that because you don't live in CA and don't have to deal with the CHP here.

The RRE kit uses a cast manifold too, and has the wastegate mounted low. I've even seen it with the heat shield on the manifold and it almost looks stock to the untrained eye . Just another option.

Where in Cali are you? If SoCal, try Tunning Technologies. They have a 3076 kit that emphasizes the stock look with nice gains. Well put together kit that works good with pump gas and meth/alk/race. In addition, Alfred is a very good tuner and runs a very tight shop, strongly recommended.
