Boost leak test Issues

I searched but never found anything

I was doing a boost leak test and the car wouldn't hold much pressure at all. I fixed the leaks in the charge tubes and i noticed air coming out of the front crank ventilation port. So then i took apart the PCV valve and oil catch can system then put it back together. Everything was put together very tight and i still had air coming out. Then i took the oil cap off and i could hear escaping into the crank case from god knows where.

Is this something to be worried about? Are some valves open causing air to fill the cylinders and out through the rings? What should i do?

Thanks
Chris
