Hi All,

Would apreciate feedback from Evo8 - Evo9 owners who have tinkered with mods such as boost, tune etc. but have kept the standard exhaust.

Trying to get an idea of what kind of power levels the stock exhaust system is good for before having to go after market..

i remember a dynoflashed evo 8 that made 300 whp with bpu. Then they dynoed it with the silencer just for kicks and got 250 whp but i'm pretty sure the stocker outflows the silencer.

 

i tuned with al,6 weeks ago and put down 280whp with only a apex'i intake ,but this week im putting on a buschur axleback exhaust and looking for a 2.5 inch buschur downpipe and looking to get 315whp and thinkin about letting Al drill out my boostpill to increase boost alittle....
