Lowest db, free-flowing exhaust? Vendors please chime in.

Well here I am, living in redneck middle of nowhere BFE Idaho and I can't stop getting pulled over by stupid cops. Everyone and there brother has loud *** trucks and Harley's but for some reason they'd rather pick on me.

I did alittle searching but couldnt find a whole lot on different exhausts actual db level. Our law here states that an exhaust can't be modified to be louder then stock but, none of the local law enforcement even has the testing capabilities as I have asked numerous times. Therefore even a close to stock sounding system would be nice. I don't care if I have to run a silencer on the street as long as its something easy to remove at the track.

personally i use the Invidia G200 setup...

it is 100% quieter than the TurboXS RFL Ti i had before...

even when i changed my high flow cat with a resonated testpipe the car is fairly quiet...

my setup is stock Evo IX turbo, megan o2, Perrin dp, Megan resonated testpipe, Invidia G200

its 3 inch all the way, not bottle necking anywhere, no droning at all on the highway, and on normal driving it sounds just a tad louder than stock... On WOT of course you can hear it, but nothing like then Turbo XS or alikes...

Well I've heard the Greddy is pretty loud. I have the HKS Hi-Power right now and I don't feel its that loud but the cops think otherwise. I would like to have actual db level proof on some of these though.

I recommend Buschur's Magnaflow version exhaust. The large muffler is very quiet, and the is easily removable at the track. I swap-on a turn down when racing, cuts wt. too. This is my 4th exhaust system, and it works the best for me by far.

Probably your best bet is a custom exhaust. Get the biggest Magnaflow that will fit in the bumper area, and then use the biggest resonator that will fit by the driveshaft. And an HFC instead of a test pipe will help keep the noise down.

Get the exhaust Trent has with the 2 bullets.

Or you could just keep the wastegate closed?

I have the same exhaust with two bullet mufflers...its quieter than only one, but you will still get pulled over.

You should get Tanabe Concept G Blue. it's complete turbo back system and for lacking resonators, they're rather quiet. They also include removavble silencers too.

oh yea, you gotta love the blue ti-tip
