stroker build - how many hours?

how many hours should a tuning shop take to build a stroker from dropping car off to them to picking up?

is 20 hours about right, as thats what iv been told for a 2 litre build, but how many more hours for the stroker

the stroker shouldnt take any more labor hours, if anything it might just cost more at the machine shop setting everything up and checking clearances. But as far as putting it together a 2.3 will go together the same as a 2.0

btw, IMO 20hrs is being fairly conservative on a Evo 4G63 overhaul but thats just me

does 20 hours include R&R of the engine too? if so, 20 hours is quick.

Are they a full scale shop? including machine shop capabilites too?

ask them how they go about verifying bearing & piston to wall clearances......

request a build sheet...
