Magnetic fuel savers...

Anyone given them ago or are they as bigger scam as the 20+ BHP chips (5p $10resister) found on ebay?

Rip-off

They don't do anything, basic logic would imply that, but on the off chance they could have an effect, Popular Mechanics has tested all of the "Fuel - Savers" none of them work.

I think it is shameful that people sell crap like this, Magnets, "Vornado", ect.

Driving style, tire pressure, slow down, not fun but all of these work.

Scam. If you need proof beyond common sense go to popular mechanics' site. They performed tests on many of these bogus products.

Either

a) don't floor it and drive like a race car driver
b) get a daily driver


if you're THAT concerned with fuel savings.



Or put cheap crap on your car. Your choice.

Ironic thing is 95% of buyers or more think the products work according to the generous feedback.

Think the electric superchargers are pretty naff too.
