i somehow managed to dent the black plate on the bottom of the transmission case and it is now leaking slowly. i went to the mits dealership and they said that i cant buy just that part. that i would have to buy the back half that part comes on just to get that plate. and the cost of that back half of the transmission is like over a grand. so i was wondering if anyone had a 5 speed case sitting around that has that plate on in and would be willing to sell me the plate and the bolts? or just know where i could get one from.

 

i got a tranny just sitting. Make a offer. but realize that my tranny will be useless.

Could you take it off and try to straighten it? Might as well try if you're looking for a new one anyway.
