um yeah it would. I've seen 20g's put out anywhere from 360 to 460. the gas and supporting mods have a huge effect.

Depends...

As Evom members from around the country report in, it is clear that fuel plays a very big part in the out put of the Green.
So...
on race gas - yes
on 93 + meth - prolly yes
on 93 - maybe
on 91 + meth - prolly not
on 91 - no

first, I would search. If your goal is to make 400whp and that's it, you can find a dyno that can get your car to read that high on the stock turbo with some race gas. as for the 20G, I would say not a bad option...about $1000 and looks completely stealth...but once you add all the supporting mods and the tune and run it, I would guess you will only see a gain of maybe 40-50whp...depending on all the mods you do. If you add cams, then I would guess a little more. I decided on a ETS turbo kit. The one I am getting should hit peak boost around 3800-4k and I will probably gain anywhere from 80-100whp over the stock turbo on pump gas. Should get me close to that 400whp mark...but I'm on the west coast and our dyno numbers tend to be somewhat lower...I made 306/309 on pump gas with stock turbo, cams, fmic, O2 housing. The most I've seen on 100 octane is 354whp...so on the west coast it would be hard to hit 400whp on the 20G. Just do some searching around on the forum and read up about as many turbos and their respective supporting mods to see what fits you best. 400whp isn't too hard...it's more about how you want your spool up to be for your type of racing...if you do a particular kind of racing.

Common now.. I got over 400AWHP and AWTQ with a IX turbo on 93 pump and Meth at 28.5 PSI... It can be done without a 20G... The only thing I see a 20G will do for you is instead of spiking over 400 and then dropping with the IX turbo, the 20G will hold that power a little better.. But in IMHO, I don't think it's worth the $1,600 price tag it has because you could buy cams, a fuel bump, valve spring and ret and still have a few left over for something else... period...

The general consciousness seems to be that the turbo will be able to hit that goal - provided you've got the proper supporting mods.

And for someone who's only goal is to hit the 400's (as is mine), then you should be able to do it with this setup, and without having to spend a buttload more on a larger turbo that you might loose some driveability on.

p.s. I'm just regurgatating what I have seen here.
