Unhappy Tranny lock out, hard shifting

Hey Folks, the other day I was getting on the throttle for a little fun , winding out first and second but when I went to shift into third it made this horrible grinding sound and I couldnt get it into 3rd at all ..I slowed down and while coasting realized I couldnt get it into 3rd or forth anymore.. At first I thought I had dropped my clutch but realized I still had 1,2, and 5th gear. So I start to drive home in skipping 3,4th for about a mile when i tried again and the gears were back , I thought maybe its the syncros or my tranny fluid cause I've had hard shifting in the past and on cold days it didnt wana go into gear. I chanded my fluid the next day with redline mp-40 and it made it a lil easier but it happened again at wot a week later but only for a second or 2. I still feel like its stiff while shifting and from a dead stop when I try to put it into first it kinda has to pop into gear. I have a exedy stage 2 cluth and a lightweight fly wheel and I guess I'm wondering .. could this be a clutch adjustment problem, bent shifter fork, or does it soud like 2'gs worth of tranny? Thxs guys.

No I din't get the clutch hot. I dont launch my car , I boost from a roll. Granted I shift fast and at high rpms, but this was a quick junky fix of speed . It could be improper cluth adjustment , but how can I tell? also I hear a noise when im decelerating in gear and thoutht it was the TOB of the aftermarket clutch but now im not so sure...

Adjust your clutch pedal up. Evomoto has a article on how to do it.

Thx for the Idea I'll try to adjust it but how do I tell if I have proper adjustment? I'm worried about adjusting it wrong and damaging the clutch , what should I look for in a properly adjusted clutch, and u said adjust it up? my clutch engages high already if i adjust it up willl it take it even higher? or will it just move the pp farther out from the fly for easier shifting?
