I think this would be a sweet intake setup......
I was browsing on www.extremeturbosystem.com and came up with this system. I think it would go good with my current mods, and for the price its not that bad. Has anyone tried a setup like this.
Replace stock intercooler with the ETS evolution intercooler system. Price says $829 and this looks like it includes the hoses and plumbing you need to connect it into your system. They have an option for the intercooler to be 3" deep, 3.5" deep or 4" deep. I would probably go with the 3.5" one because this is as big as you can go without having to modify your front crash beam according to thier website.
They also have an option to go with the shorter pipe for this kit if you buy thier mini battery system which is another $229 (I would get this too because it keeps the path shorter)
They also have an intake kit for, and I quote "evo's running the stock MAF" - this is good because I havent replaced my turbo yet. It basically looks like a K&N filter type end with the piece you need to replace the rubber stock one and a MAF adapter. I priced this up and with shipping its going to be 1450$ for everything, including shipping. Any opinions?
My current engine mods are:
3" Catback, 3" Cat-Delete Pipe, 3" downpipe, tubular headers.
Anyone deal with ETS before? If I do these mods I know I will have to get the car tuned, I will most likely take it to AMS.
