intercooler horsepower gains

How much hp/tq gains should I expect with a upgraded spearco intercooler

Spearco didnt seem to work to well on the evo...not much gain. the pressure loss is what you will really feel coming from a stock intercooler to an aftermarket one. the aftermarket one, you will feel faster spool and cooler temps. i noticed a great deal of gain with my TurboXs intercooler. look around you can find great deals on them. there are other intercoolers out there as well. this is just my personal experience...

both nice and quality!
Id say get one of them,over Spearco

as far as cooling, the stock ic is efficient enough for most and is comparable is size to most Spearco intercoolers.

if you want better flow and quick hp just upgrade the IC piping.

i Have an injen Intercooler. Gain of roughtly 15hp on data log lab before and after with mail in retune.

spearco intercooler results: 4 horsepower and 3 torque
i went from 297 hp and 314 torque to 301 hp and 317 torque on 91 octane

I went with the ETS intercooler and love it!I only see a few PSI drop when the boost peaks.The car feels much better.

i did get a tune with it. the car dropped from 297 hp to 270 hp on our first dyno run. by the end it hit 301 hp on 91 oct.

Wow a whole 4hp, guess when you ask questions maybe you should listen to the feedback huh . For the most part these guys know what they are talking about.
