Buschur vs AMS bushings
Buschur vs AMS bushings
Im looking at getting the 6-speed shifter bushings from either AMS or Buschur. Just by looking at the pictures it looks like AMS has 4 bushing and a cotter pin, whereas the Buschur has 2 bushings and retainer clips. Does anyone have experience with both, or recommend one over the other?? thanks in advance
Wow, 4g63k, we need to charge $16 for shipping, that would triple or profit margin on these little shifter bushings. Thanks for the order.
The two piece design is pretty easy to install. It's a shifter bushing, not a lot of science in it but it sure does make the shifter feel better.

are you sure that your looking at shifter bushings and not shifter base bushing on AMS's site? regardless i went with speed source for both of mine, i have a GSR idk if they make 6 speed ones, i bought mine b4 AMS and Buschur had them out...least to my knowledge
note: any solid bushing wont be different from another, a poly bushing will be different from a solid
speed source makes solid
buschur makes solid
idk about AMS

I had mine put in from AMS, by AMS. Shifter felt great! Mine was a five speed though. And first gear kind of squeaks now, and fifth gear is a little difficult to get into lol. Overall feels good
i had a set of TIC urethane bushings (probably very similar to AMS), felt good, but still not quite what i was looking for, so i decided to try the Buschur solid bushings and all i can say is wow. I am very happy with them.
Good clutch, fresh built trans and BR solid bushings = a trans that will shift lightning fast!

We are currently in the middle of updating our website so the cart has been having trouble calculating shipping cost for anything weighing less than a pound. We have seen the same problem when someone orders a t-shirt that costs 10.00 and the website calculates a shipping charge around 15.00 dollars. As soon as a order is placed online it is not charged instantly. It gets process by our internet orders associate and he calculates the right shipping charge for you before the credit card is charged to make sure that you are not over charged for shipping. If there is a case where he has to do this, then he always emails the customer letting then know that the charge is much less. Again we have only seen this issue with over calculating on items that weigh around a pound or less.I do apologize about this inconvenience and please feel free PM me if you need any assistance in the future.
Thanks
Thanks for the response Andrew, I was kinda worried about the $16 dollar shipping charge as I am about to order some myself.
It's nice to see that Buschur and AMS showed up in this thread
