What supporting mod for running 35R kit w/ maf delete
Ok so I know all the supporting bolt on mods but what about the MAF ? With a new 35R kit you have a 4" intake plus the turbo is just going to suck in the MAF also. So what do you do ?
Im figuring that you have to run a blow through or maybe a MaftPro set-up ? Ive been looking into the Maft Pro and all of its features. I want to make the most use of it so i plan on buying all the sensors and options. Convert to speed/ density and run a Tial blow off valve along with having no MAF issues with a 35R kit.
The question is what route do most people take ? The more cost effective blow through ? or the Maft Pro which really isnt that bad for something that does so much and supposedly does it well also.

Ok i was just unsure as to the most practical route ppl go. All i knew is that you dont want a maf on a turbo larger than stock. Still trying to pick everyone brain so i know where to start.
Thanks though guys. Looks like ill going full out aem.

You could do a GM MAF and a MAF translator or Gen II.
I like the thought of the Gen II. You can use a Ford or GM MAF, plus with a LC-1 attached to it it will practically do your tuning for you. It seems great on paper, but I would like to hear from someone that is using it.
Everyone is all about speed density.... There is a reason people change there old stangs from SD to a MAF. Change the smallest thing and you have to redo the VE table. In my opinion SD is over rated.
