Tranny / clutch problem ?

Hey whats up guys, so I recently came upon a problem in my car. First of all the car is an EVO IX SE with basically a Precision SC61 turbo and the required supporting mods along with it (Stock ECU). Clutch is an ACT Extreme Heavy Duty. So driving my car over the weekend, I started noticing that the car kinda struggled going into 4th gear. After driving for awhile, I noticed it wouldn't go into 4th gear at all, so I just took the car home and let it sit. I tried driving it the next day and the car went into all gears fine, with a little bit of struggle going into 4th, but it was indeed grabbing. Now today I drove to TTech for a visit and noticed right off the freeway 3rd and 4th gear wouldn't go in at all. The shifter would go into the gear, but it wasn't grabbing, which led me to believe it was a clutch problem. After playing with the stick with the car off, I tried to drive it again and this time 4th wasn't grabbing. Initially I thought it was a tranny problem, but was bamboozled when 3rd started not to grab instead of 4th. Any input, thoughts, or ideas ?

I dont really understand. Do you mean its physically hard to put the shifter into 3rd or 4th?

How many miles on the car? Have you checked out your shifter bushings in and out?

adjust your clutch pedal,,,, ACT clutches have a history of being harsh on our trannies,,,,, your syncros Shepperd tranny will re-build for 900 cant beat the price for all the work he does, once you get the tranny back from him it will be something you can beat on and beat on there are cars running that tranny with over 1000 WHP, car like AMS drag car and time attack,, Buschur, Al Dynoflash,, procco evo and tons more

Need a little more info, mileage on car and clutch. Is 3rd and 4th gummy or sticky feeling going into gear with the car off? Sounds very similar in what happened to me.

you're saying when you get in gear the car is not grabbing? like the clutch is slipping?

I know with ACT's you have to adjust the clutch pedal. I would also bleed the clutch system.

Please explain yourself properly.
