Need HELP QUICK> PLEASE ASAP

Just installed AFC. It is working good. CHeck engine lights pops up though. I am reseting the ECU right now so maybe that will work. I setup the %'s , setup to 4 cly, arrow up and selected karman., Everything seems fine. Letting ECU reset right now. Got a couple ?'s.

What is the pre. setting. What do I leave that at. There are also some more settings, but nobody has ever mentioned them on this board. Any help. Please

In2-.05-.1
Thr-.61-.620

dec. air
thr - ****%
ne1 10.0%
ne2 10%

Grpha Scale
pr. 760 mmhg

CR +- 3%

Are these correct.??

Car is idling a little bad. It cant be cuz of the hi throttle setting I put in since this is at idle that it has a CEL and choppy idle.

Also for the hi throttle setting. I can only change them in increments of 1000 RPM or is this normal for the AFC? I guess only the AFC you can change in 400 RPM increments. oh well

Took it for a drive everything seems fine. Also another setting it has is ne1-ne8 and each has is set at 1000-8000 repectively.

Does this setting seem normal?

Still cant get rid of the CEl any ideas?????/

Setup needs to be 2cylinder with the arrow pointing up. Your rpms will match up then.

I personally called Apexi themselves and you can reconfirm with AMS (Automotorsports), to get the rpms to match up, you HAVE to put it on 2 cylinder. Something with the mitsubishi ignition or something. You can call and confirm yourself!

Do you have anybody's setting for leaning it out? For example AMS or Buscher? As long as you set the Afc on Karman, throttle position low 30% high 60% (in your case 65%), and some fuel leaning out settings, the car should run fine. The CEL should be off. Unhook your battery for about twenty minutes and connect it. The light should stay off. Hope this helps.

The way that I got a CEL was to start the car without the SAFC2 in the system and with the cut wire disconnected. I'd check your wire connections.

I had to use the 2 cyl setting too... My rpm's do not match up exactly but I hear that it's common for the tachs to be innacurate.

I definitely suggest checking your wiring very carefully....

Rpm's seem to match up fine at 4cyl setting. I will try to disconnect for 20 mins or so. hopefully that will work. Wires are good. I double checked them all. They are all securely connected.
