Greddy PRofec B Spec 2 problems

Hey guys, I had a friend of mine help me mess around with my Greddy profec b spec 2 ebc because I had no idea on how to work it. The problem is, is that he says that the settings and a few other things are different from any other profec b spec 2's he's used/seen.

Like the way you can set gain, you are supposed to be able to go from 0-100% but it only goes from 35-75. And gain set should be 0-100 but it goes up to like 250.

Is there different versions of the spec 2? I bought the car used and it came with it already installed. I've always used MBC's so an EBC is a little different for me.

Another problem we had was that it was surging when building boost. Even though it might just be a boost leak, the only way we were able to stop that was to lower the boost %, which I didn't really like.

Anyone ever hear of this? I bought a Hallman mbc a while back that I have sitting in my room. Is it time to switch over?

Thanks!

No, the car runs fine, minus the surge sometimes. The car was tuned by TTP.

it's probably the user not the unit. My greddy profec b II worked flawlessly.

As mentioned, check your settings and adjust per the instructions in the how to thread.
